Google 學術搜尋是一個可免費搜索學術文章的網絡搜尋引擎，可搜索包括學術書籍、期刊文章、論文和會議論文等各種學術資源。當Google 學術搜尋已設定接入澳門理工大學圖書館連線時，便可以通過出現在搜索結果右側的FullText@MPU連結獲取圖書館訂閱的全文內容。

萬方中國學位論文全文數據庫 (CDDB)
中國學位論文全文數據庫(CDDB)收錄自1980年以來國內自然科學領域各高等院校、研究生院以及研究所的碩士、博士以及博士后論文共計約150萬餘篇。其中211高校論文收錄量占總量的70%以上，每年增加約30萬篇。內容包括人文科學、社會科學、理學、醫藥衛生、農業科學、工業技術等六個大類、60餘個小類。
OpenDissertations
OpenDissertations is an open-access database built to assist researchers in locating both historic and contemporary dissertations and theses. Created with the generous support of the H.W. Wilson Foundation and the Congregational Library & Archives in Boston, it incorporates EBSCO's previously released American Doctoral Dissertations, and features additional dissertation metadata contributed by select colleges and universities from around the world. Providing researchers with citations to graduate research across a span of time, from the early 20th century to the present, this database will continue to grow through regular updates and new partnerships with graduate degree-granting institutions.

林近，原名林崇拭（1923-2004），是澳門著名藝術家，他的作品以書法、篆刻、國畫為主。他曾擔任澳門書法篆刻學會會長、澳門頤園書畫會理事長、西泠印社名譽社員、南京師範大學、澳門理工學院藝術高等學校客座教授。2001年獲澳門特別行政區政府頒授文化功績勳章。
林近先生胸懷祖國，親切關懷澳門理工學院的教育事業，在2000年，把所有珍藏捐 贈给澳門理工學院，學院於2001年設置懷遠樓林近藏書特藏館，收藏林近先生的珍藏，以藝術、篆刻、書法、繪畫藏書為主，在2005年進行了擴建工程。特藏館藏書只供館內閱覽。

The Academic Journal of "One Country, Two Systems", an academic periodical, most likely the only one so far dedicated to theoretical research with exclusive focus on discussions and practice relating to the "One Country, Two Systems" principle, is now launched to researchers and the general public. It should have come as no surprise to the academic community. Rather than unexpected, it is an inevitable outcome following the development trends of the current situation, the establishment of the Special Administrative Regions (SARs), and the effective implementation of the Basic Law of the two SARs in China.
